Cannot configure SNMP V3 in C9372PX

Hello, 

I can't able configure snmp v3 

Applying below command on switch C9372PX

snmp-server user userXXXX auth md5 pXXXX priv pXXXX

Getting below error, Please provide solution after applying above command.

reason: command execution error

I know this is old but hopefully someone will see and find it helpful. Took me a couple of hours to figure out.

You need to assign a role to a user. Do show user-accounts to see all of the users. Notice that there might not be a role assigned. If you created a new role (not a set of default roles like network-admin shown in a config guide) you can look at it by using show role. Then you can assign a role to a user by using username {youruser} role {yourrole}.
