Cannot delete MAC-address in Ciscoview

Hi,

I'm using LMS 3.1 and I've got a problem when I want to delete MAC-address entry in the "right-click - Configure / Category - Port Security / MAC Address Table "

I'm trying to do so on 3560 Switches with snmp v3. Is there any specific write view to configure ?

Note that any other changes made by ciscoview on those devices are applied successfully. Only MAC address deletion are causing problem.

Thanks.

What does your SNMP configuration look like on the switch now?

snmp-server engineID local 017402850396

snmp-server group groupname v3 auth write v1default

snmp-server group groupname v3 auth context vlan-2

snmp-server group groupname v3 auth context vlan-3

snmp-server group groupname v3 auth context vlan-4

snmp-server group groupname v3 auth context vlan-5

snmp-server group groupname v3 auth context vlan-6

snmp-server group groupname v3 auth context vlan-7

snmp-server group groupname v3 auth context vlan-8

snmp-server group groupname v3 auth context CONTEXT

snmp-server group username v3 auth notify *tv.FFFFFFFF.FFFFFFFF.FFFFFFFF.FFFFFFF F0F

switch#sh snm user

User name: username

Engine ID: xxxx

storage-type: nonvolatile active

Authentication Protocol: SHA

Privacy Protocol: None

Group-name: groupname

This is fine. You may be hitting a bug, or a limitation in the device package. I suggest you open a TAC service request so more debugging can be done. Unfortunately, I do not have the time to dig into this in more detail right now.
