Hi,
I have a cisco 3560CX that has downshift disable on loopback 0. I dont know how it got there and it is the only one of our many 3560's that has it. I'm not too worried that it is there but would like to remove it just to keep things the same. But I am unable to remove this command. I've even gone as far as removing the Loopback but when I rebuild it, the command is automatically added to it.
Any Ideas?
Loopback 0
downshift disable
ip address x.x.x.x x.x.x.x

Hi ,
The no downshift disable command enablesdownshift on the interface.
To restore autonegotiation (default setting), enter the no speed command in the interface configuration mode.
Let me know if that helps.

Thanks for your reply.
However, I am unable to put a speed command on a loopback.
Thanks
