We have a few 4507's running which we're trying to monitor with SNMP. The OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.109.1.1.1.1.7.X should get me the CPU-usage in the last minute according the MIB. Now if I try to use snmpget I get the following error:
snmpget -v2c -c public 172.21.210.1 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.109.1.1.1.1.7.3000 SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.9.9.109.1.1.1.1.7.3000 = No Such Instance currently exists at this OID
But if I issue the exact same command twice in quick succession it works:
snmpget -v2c -c public 172.21.210.1 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.109.1.1.1.1.7.3000 SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.9.9.109.1.1.1.1.7.3000 = No Such Instance currently exists at this OID snmpget -v2c -c public 172.21.210.1 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.109.1.1.1.1.7.3000 SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.9.9.109.1.1.1.1.7.3000 = Gauge32: 13
If I then again don't issue the command for about a minute I'll get the error again.
Software Version is 03.06.00.E
Has anybody every experienced this issue before and knows how to fix it?

- Possibly upgrade to a gold-starred release and check if the problem persists.

I unfortunately can't do a software upgrade because this device is of a customer where we're limited in the amount of updated we're allowed to do.

- That is acknowledged; but this IS probaly a software bug ; so then you are in a deadlock...
