CCIE Validity

Hi 

i have CCNP R&S and it will be expire at 12-12-2018 

if i passed CCIE 400-101 is this renew the CCNP certificate and what is the duration ? is 3 years or less than ?

If you pass CCIE Written - you need to take CCIE LAB with in 18months, if not all the Certifications will be expires.

but with 18 months if you pass any track CCNP, that will extend another 3 years.

This is bit buzzard but this is fact of Cisco Training policy.

did you mean if i passed the written exam , the old CCNP renew just with 18 months ?

If you pass CCIE written all Certification valid until 18month ( you need to take LAB)  2years total. with in 2 years you need to re-take any equivalent certification to retain your number.

Thank you for your input, i may be wrong, let me cross check again the policy, last time when i looked (long ago) i had same issue, so Cisco Training policy people told me the information i have forwarded to you.
