How do i convert my .log files which have the configuration of my network devices onto the .cfg file.
cfg files are easy to recover.

Are you talking about doing this for the purpose of CiscoWorks or just to do a manual copy tftp run?
If its the manual tftp then just copy the config to a file and name it with .cfg extension. You can then copy this to the device.

The file extension doesn't matter. You may use .cfg if you like. The important thing is not to change the file format. It needs to be in text format.
