Changing logging level for intf up/down on 6509 running IOS

Hello,

I have 6509 with SUP720 running IOS, I got every day a bunch of error messages for link up/down.

Is that a way to set, by interface, the level of logging message for up/down of the link???

The goal is to set normal devices with info message for up/down link, and all interface as trunk or etherchannel sending up/down messages as error.

I hope my question is clear enough.

I don't believe there's a way to change the severity level of a message. I recommend turning off up/down logging messages for user ports, and leaving them on for the trunk and etherchannel ports on an interface by interface basis. Then the only messages my syslog server gets are the ones I should react to.
