Hope i can get some help as i am quite noive in Cisco and still learning.
I am tasked with configuring an AP as a repeater.
I have reset the AP to defaults and configured it in CLI with the below:
configure terminal
interface dot11radio 0
ssid JDC-WN
infrastructure-ssid
exit
station-role repeater
dot11 extensions aironet
parent 1 0017.0edf.4aff 100
parent 2 0017.0edf.4ff0
parent 3 0017.0edf.4e54
end
This still would not work or have AP associate with the repeater.
Should i do any additional changes to on Web express setup or just the config above should be ok?
Do i have to include anything like WEP keys(which the repeater wont take anyways).
Is assigning a Static IP making any difference to the process or should i leave it as default?
