cisco 2960-x express setup does not submit ip settings

Level 1

After applying new ip settings in express setup, I press submit but the changes do not apply.

A new page opens to the new ip but after setting nic to the same subnet I cannot connect.

I change back to dhcp and connect to the default 10.0.0.1 again.

i have tried multiple browsers and computers.

 - Is there an error when you press Submit ? You may be able to initially configure through the console, check this thread :

Thank you! ive been at it for a few hours! This worked

Do you know how to reset the switch from CLI? Pressing the mode button does not do a factory reset as manual states. I cannot log into one switch because the default password doesn’t work.
