Cisco 4G MIMO C896VAG-LTE-GA-K9

Hi Folks

I'm looking to enable 2x2 MIMO on the cellular 4G/LTE interface which I believe this router should be able to do,  however info is a bit scarce.

Its up and running at the moment, however removing the M1/DIV antenna does not slow down the connection which makes me think its not using it at all.

It looks to use a Sierra Wireless card MC7304 which should support MIMO

Any thoughts?

the data-sheet states it support MIMO in the 4G LTE connection

but not much info about configuration or monitoring!

but this document states:  Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) is an integral part of LTE. 

Included antenna	Two multiband 4G LTE swivel-mount dipole antennae (4G-LTE-ANTM-D) and one extender (4G-AE010-R) are included.
Diversity (dual antennae) MIMO	C88xG-4G-GA-K9, C89xG(W)-LTE-GA-K9 and C899G-LTE-xx-K9: Diversity supported MIMO (2X2)
