Hi All

I was running 16.6 on a 9200L switch. Configured IP SLA all working as it should be.

Then upgraded the switch to 17.3.1 and, reading the docs here

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/switches/lan/catalyst9200/software/release/17-3/configuration_guide/nmgmt/b_173_nmgmt_9200_cg/configuring_service_level_agreements.html

Its seems that IP SLA should be fine however, the commands are still there in the startup config but when the switch starts  the commands do not work. On using the ? there are are only 3 options.

The switch has a network essential license and has a PRL in an airgapped environment so don't ask for a config please.

Googled it to death nothing...... any ideas anyone.

Cheers

Hello,

you need Network Advantage in order to be able to configure IP SLAs.

Scroll down to Table 10:

The guide is for 17.3.3, so upgrade to 17.3.3 or 17.3.4 and test it.

before upgrading check the feature navigator : ( i may suspect this due to license for now)

It works in 16.6 Network Essentials  .... just another money spinner.

Thanks
