Cisco Aironet 1815t cycling red amber green on Ethernet Switch

I have a Cisco Aironet 1815t Series for connecting to my workplace’s network from home. I can connect it directly to my router fine, however when I try to connect it to my router through a TP link Ethernet switch, it gets stuck on cycling red, amber and green (Discovery/join process is in progress). I have plugged everything out and back in, switched Ethernet ports, changed Ethernet cables, still the same issue. It did work before so not sure why it is now having issues. Any ideas?

Hello @BrockSL

AP in the red, ambar and gree cycling could mean the AP is trying to find a WLC.   When connected to your router, the router is probably facing the internet and the AP is able to join the WLC. When you connect it to the switch, the AP might not be receiving an IP address or it is getting an IP address but is not able to go out to the internet with that IP.  Either this could be an Access List or NAT configuration, we need to see how the router is configured.
