All,
My current understanding regarding the ASA firewall platform and NTP is that while the ASA can synchronize its clock to a NTP master/authoritative time source, it is unable to become a master/authoritative NTP time source; thus allowing other network enabled devices to sync time from it. Is this still the case in ASA 9.x code? I reviewed the 9.4 CLI guides and reference docs and this still seems to be a limitation. We have other solutions/options available for NTP time synchronization, but I wanted to definitively be able to either include it or exclude from the list.
Thanks!

Hi,
ASA cannot be NTP master. You will have to use other NTP Server.
Thanks

We will use another source then....
