Hi, I can't find SNMP OID for cisco 3850 stack status. To be honest I can't find any IOD's. Because SNMP WALK gives me range .1.0.8802.1.1.2.....

But snmp navigator does not know this OID's. How can I determine what each oid means?

Try OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.500.1.2.1.1.6 for the switch stack status. Instace 1001 is switch 1, 2001 is switch 2, etc.. A value of 4 means the switch is Up. More info: http://oidref.com/1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.500.1.2.1.1.6

You cal also use OID for serial numbers in a switch stack. When there is a missing serial number for a switch then it means the switch is down - 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.5.1.2.19

These OID's work only on cisco 3750. But it does not work on 3850.
That's why I created this post.
As I have already said above snmpwalk returns oid range started from .1.0.8802.1.1.
It looks like device does not have standard cisco oid (1.3.6.1.4.)

Weird as people are saying they are seeing standard OID: https://community.cisco.com/t5/network-management/3850-stack-not-displayed-correctly-in-ciscoview-6-1/td-p/2564419

Also check this link see if its any help:

Do you have a syslog server? Every time a stack member goes down there will be a syslog message logged. You can use syslog alerting instead . Thats what I'm using for monitoring our 3850 stack status.

Unfortunately these links do not help.
We have a syslog, but we don't use it as active monitoring. It uses only for event investigations
