Hai ,

Cisco Catalyst 2960 series switch showing " Press Return to get started " when connect using Teraterm . using this message not possible to enter in switch settings .How to solve this issue or skip from this message . Error message has been uploaded . please refer it

Hi

That's the right output when your consoled in and it boots up first  , whats wrong , does nothing happen when you hit return ?

did you try putty instead

how i access user mode ?Actually i need to configure the switch . No commands or keys  from keyboard are not working . in this not possible to enter any commands or anythings . i tried after resetting the switch many times . but it shows same message ' Press return to get started ' .

Hi,
this is a standard message. Just press enter and you should see command prompt.

Do you have this issue also in for example PUTTY ?
