Cisco Network Assistant Corrupt

Support,

Recently, I downloaded the MAC version of CNA.   When I unzipped, and executed I receive a pop-up that says it's corrupted.

I have redownloaded and try older versions, but still no luck.   Am I missing a step to run under MAC OS?

I was able to download 5.6.3, and update to 6.0 from within.

However, somehow, all devices I try to add give an 'unsupported' error message.

SOLVED:

It seems that macOS does not permit you to run .app files downloaded without valid certificates.  To fix the issue...

  1. Download a copy of Cisco Network Assistant
  2. Unzip the file
  3. In terminal enter the following

xattr -rc /[path-to-.app-directory/cna_mac_k9_5_89.1_en.app

4.In the Mac Finder app, navigate to the unzipped file (directory actually) and double-click

Once you have completed these instructions, you will find the Network Assistant app installed in a Network Assistant directory under your home directory.
