Hi all,
When I check the output for the command "show environment temperature all" I see high temperatures reading, is this ok ??
router#show environment temperature all
module 1 outlet temperature: 53C
module 1 inlet temperature: 34C
module 2 outlet temperature: 57C
module 2 inlet temperature: 31C
module 2 device-1 temperature: 32C
module 2 device-2 temperature: 54C
module 3 outlet temperature: 55C
module 3 inlet temperature: 32C
module 3 device-1 temperature: 32C
module 3 device-2 temperature: 51C
module 4 outlet temperature: 50C
module 4 inlet temperature: 34C
module 5 outlet temperature: 33C
module 5 inlet temperature: 32C
module 5 device-1 temperature: 31C
module 5 device-2 temperature: 33C
module 6 outlet temperature: 38C
module 6 inlet temperature: 34C
module 6 device-1 temperature: 43C
module 6 device-2 temperature: 42C
module 6 asic-1 (SSO-1) temp: 33C
module 6 asic-2 (SSO-2) temp: 33C
module 6 asic-3 (SSO-3) temp: 33C
module 6 asic-4 (SSO-4) temp: 33C
module 6 asic-5 (SSA-1) temp: 33C
module 6 asic-6 (HYPERION-1) temp: 33C

Hi,
the above output is correct , the above command will show you the "temprature " for all the modules ,rp and backplane ...
Router#show environment temperature ?
all selects all FRU-types
backplane specify backplane
earl specify earl <slot>
module specify module location
rp specify RP (MSFC) <slot>
vdb specify vdb <slot>
vtt specify VTT <number>
| Output modifiers
<cr>
If you want to see the "temp" for only RP then run the below command::
Router#show environment temperature rp ?
<1-4> module slot number
Thanks-
Afroz

Hi afrahmad I want to know if the temp output is ok for all modules, because 53C seems to be high for the router...
