Hi all. After some help. I’ve got a Cisco ISR 2811 with CME & 2 Cisco CP-8841. I’m wanting to configure the 8841s with CME as it states it’s supported. I’ve uploaded the firmware files to the 2811 Flash via tftp but when I go into

Telephony service
Load ?

8841 doesn’t show up into the list. And when I try to do voice-register pool type 8841 it doesn’t let me do it.

The 2811 iOS version is c2800nm-advipservicesk9-mz.151-4.m1.bin

Any help would be appreciated.

If you active telephony service then is not voice register pool ; this command is SIP registering and you need voice register global instead of telephony services. Telephony service is for SCCP firmware. 8841 support only SIP Firmware.

Additionally, it's important to note that the Cisco ISR 2811 is an older router model, and it may have limitations in terms of supported phone models and firmware versions. You may need to consider upgrading your router or using a different CME-compatible device that supports the Cisco CP-8841 phones.
