Cisco ISE TACACS+ Licencing

Hi Guys,

I'm going to setup 2 ISE nodes in Distributed deployment for Radius ( for Wireless Authentication)  and TACACS+ for Device management.

From my understanding, I need 2x ISE VM Licence (R-ISE-VMS-K9=) for each box. My Questions are:

1. Do I only need to install Base Licences on Primary Box or required in both?

2. Do I need purchase 2x Device Admin (L-ISE-TACACS-ND=) for TACACS for each node or only require 1 licence?

Hi

As soon as you created your ISE cluster, you just need to import licenses in primary device, that's it.

Asking how many licenses you need for tacacs means you don't have yet all licenses and in this case the new 2.4 licensing method applies, which is a license per tacacs node enabled.

I believe old skus are now end of sales and can't order them anymore.
