Yep, here is another NetPro subscriber asking the time honored question, "what is today's take on the integration of these products?"
Specifically, I am interested in using NNM 7.5 w/ APA poller and Cisco LMS / DFM on the same box. Would like to see the event intelligence of DFM correlate cisco events and have the LMS product / poller performing checks of cisco devices, PIX'es to start with for failover, thresholds etc.
I realize that there is product functionality cross-over, but I have net engineering and our noc standardizing to a common solaris 8 platform. (V880, 8 UltraIIIi, 8GB RAM) NOC uses NNM due to need for monitoring hosts as well as cisco net devices.
Our organization will be purchasing the LMS 2.5 product when available, but if the integration is iffy(ier) with LMS 2.5, it would be nice to know.
