Hi,
I do not have IN/OUT octates for several VLANS.
I varified this by doing a mib walk for following OIDs.
1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.2 If_Descp
1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.1 If_Index
1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.10 If_Inoctets
1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.16 If_Outoctets
I have data for a lot of these VLANs. But for the ones I don't are all shown as UNROUTED VLANs under If_Description (1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.2). Does someone know what these Unrouted Vlans are? The switch in question is running native IOS.
Thanks
Abhinav

Unrouted VLANs which have not been configured do not have ifIndexes, yet the CLI does allow you to monitor non-configured unrouted VLANs. When you monitor these kinds of VLANs, they do not appear when you perform a mibwalk on the portCopyTable. If you then configure those unrouted VLANs, they should then appear in the portCopyTable. However, they do not.To make these newly-configured unrouted VLANs appear when you perform a mibwalk on the portCopyTable, you must change the monitor configuration in any way.
