Hello,
I started receiving these alerts from Prime for multiple switches in our network:
PI has detected one or more alarms of category Switches and Routers and severity Critical in Virtual Domain ROOT-DOMAIN for the following items:
1. Timestamp: 2018-01-30 10:56:31.097
Alarm Condition: Link down
Message: Interface GigabitEthernet1/0/3, changed state to down Failure Source: xxx-idf-sw1.xxx.xxx:Interface GigabitEthernet1/0/3
The links that referenced in the alerts are not trunk ports, just standard ports. I'm hesitant to change any settings in Prime as this has never happened before.
Could there be another issue?

- Somone could have changed the configuration on those switches and enabled link-state alarms for those ports.

How do I turn it off?

- To go to the source switches and configure alert-settings as you want (that's the best option).
