Cisco Prime 3.1- Link up/down

Hi,

I want to monitor core switch link up/down status "interface" and ignore all the access switch link up/down.

I have tried to edit alarm policy for just core switch "via device/port group", but I still receiving link down alert from my access switches

The only case that i did not receive link down alert from access switches when i suppressed link down event from alarm policy for all network devices

Help please. Thank you.

Have same issue with latest cisco prime. Even though i created a alarm policy to suppress the interface policy for all system defined  access port events . Still here and there am getting the linkdown alert.

Any solution?

odd. I checked for bugs, without sucess.

What if you configure 'no logging event link-status' on the actual switch interfaces ?
