Network Disconnection

Dear All,

We experience frequesnt disocnnection in the Network as we dont have any monitoring tool, is there any way i can check where the disconnection has happend.

your request is very general. behalf that you can use below tools and beyond.

small tools such as ping, traceroute, etc.

services like, snmp, netflow, etc.

monitoring software such as solawinds, prtg etc.

 - Start by using a central logging service and or configure a syslog server on all your switches and devices. Follow-up on logging and look for anomalies in the network such as loops or other events

Logs is very important here, if you do not have any monitoring system in place.

Identify where the network disconnection occuring ?

Define - Disconnection ? Internet ? Lan to Lan ?
