Hello Experts.
Cisco Prime 2.2 Installed
The used details under Monitor>Clients and user hangs. The Client Statistics task is stuck in running, tried disabling/reenabling the task, stopping/starting the application, reloading the server, and the task still hangs (it usually takes less than 10 seconds to run).
Any suggestions?

It seems that you should disable the ISE integration while a fix is released.

Hello,
Multiple tasks are stuck in waiting state which can cause the client data processor to be unable to process the polled data & write to the Oracle database.
Can you check if you have the 2.2.2 patch on the server ? If not, please apply it & restart the server.

Hello Ram,
We cannot apply the patch, since the DC Tech Pack is installed :/. Do you know when/if it will be posible?.
Thanks, Pam

Hi Pam,
Sorry to hear that you got stuck in this situation.
This should be taken care in the next release (3.0) from what I last heard. Targeted for Late summer.
Another option for now:
1. Install a new PI 2.2 VM
2. Export the devices & maps (if any) from your current PI 2.2 server & import them into the new one.
3. Apply all the latest patches (except the Technology Packs)
This will be lot cleaner and will get you all the bug fixes. Once the new server is up & running, you can decommission the old one. Same licenses can be used on your new server.
Ram.

Hello Ram,
Actually we are hitting a bug.
https://tools.cisco.com/bugsearch/bug/CSCut09703
The reinstall part is not that simple, since the backups taken since the DC Tech Pack was installed won't work on a fresh 2.2 install (as per the documentation). There are many configurations made since the DC Pack was installed.
So we'll check on TAC if there is a patch available, or if one needs to be made.
