Cisco Prime Infrastructure API

Hello.

I am working with the Cisco Prime Infrastructure API to build a small web application for a specific tasks - mainly opening interfaces with a specific CLI template and also shutdown interfaces. I have been trying to use the documentation on the API but it's not covering completely what I am trying to accomplish. I have to send in the correct parameters to the CLI template but I always get an error that I am not feeding it the correct parameters although I have followed the step-by-step guide but something seems to be wrong. Is there anyone out there who has an experience using this API it would be so nice, because the step-by-step guide seems to be the only documentation I have found for this API.

Also I am getting this error when submitting XML to the body instead of JSON: Error in running XDE Procedure, Error Message::No attribute CLI_ENABLE_PASSWORD for device 495777310. Although I have configured Enable password for this particular device - I am really stuck with this one.

What is the device?  I do not believe all are supported via API
