I created a discovery job (ping sweep) under a virtual domain and when I run it as "root" user, the job immediately fails.
Error Message:
failed to initialize DiscoveryController
Is this unsupported?
The same discovery job also is seen in the ROOT virtual domain and runs successfully in the root domain.
Any advice?
The background is that the endcustomer doesn't want staff access to the root domain. They shall only have access to their virtual domains and shall be able to run discovery jobs for their IP ranges on demand.

I have the same problem, did you find a solution?

No, unfortunately not. We still have an open TAC case with BU involvement.
