Cisco Prime - Issue with restore

Hello,

I have a physical Cisco Prime appliance with the version 3.4 PI and I would like to reach the latest version 3.10. I've performed the application backup from the version 3.4 and now I'm trying to restore it ont he version 3.7, but the restore never finishes. As the attached image, the restore is running for almost 24 hours and I'm wondering if the restore is stuck on the last stage.

Could you please help me on it?

Hi

I think this is going to give you an error message in case it does not succeed.  Depending on the size of your data base, is possible to take that much time.

But, be prepared to receive that error message and use your plan B.  I upgraded Prime so many times and not always I got is running again from the backup. Usually I backup my Maps and my devices which is I need most...Logs I dont care, actually.

as per i remember that fails and never worked for me as per my experience.

PI 3.4 to 3.7 (do inline upgrade instead of restoring the backup)

then take fresh backup of application(not appliance) - then install fresh PI 3.10 and restore.

After almost 28hours processing the restore, I pressed Ctrl + C in order to cancel but before I try again, I rebooted the server and I could see that everything was working fine, with all important data. After that, I performed a new backup, did a fresh installation of the version 3.10 and restored the backup taken from 3.7.
