Cisco prime SCP for update

I'm trying to SCP the cisco prime update tar.gz file to the prime server but when I use the scpuser it gives me an authentication error.

I got the UN/PW from getSCPCredentials.sh

That should work as expected - if you have username and password - when you using sh file to generate.

Do I need to scp to a specific directory?  I'm thinking maybe that is the problem.

You can choose the right folder to copy, but you are getting authentication error as you mentioned in the OP so i suggested other option.
