OK after some investigation at the i-net i decided to perform a clean installation of the Server an Cisco Works.

So after i do thes i´d perform a restore of my old Data from LMS 3.2. Now i investicated that my ANI Server Falied to start. OK than i tried to restart the Works Demon ... f... and what will happend ?!?!?! The demon doesn´t start. Can someone help me ?!?! Please i will not perform a new istallation again.

Hi Mario,

Try the below steps:

First of all add the Casusers in the Administrators Group  ( or you can say Casusers should be a memeber of Administrator group)

--Now Execute the below command:

NMSROOT\CSCOpx\setup\support>resetCasuser.exe

Now try to start the daemon Manager

Thanks

Hi Afroj

the Server is in a domain. The server is running under win2008r2 SP1 standard.

I´d tried to re-initialized the database with a local admin and the same error accour.

Then i´d tried to move the databasefile y hand and then i get an error message that told me the file is in use by another process ... See screenshot

thx

mario

before doing anything with database files (e.g. re-init, copy) you have to stop LMS;

re-init of a database is more than just copying a file, so be careful what you  are doing...

When you did the new installation of LMS,

    - was it on the same server?

    - if yes, how did you do the uninstallation

    - have you changed NMSROOT from LMS 3.2 to LMS 4.0 ?

    - please provide the ani.log

----------------------------------------------------------------

- i stoped the LMS with net stop crmdmgtd

- no i´d install LMS 4.0 on a new Server Windows 2008 Standart 64 BIT (Old Server LMS 3.2 Windows 2003 Standart Server 32BIT)

- no i don´t change the NMSROOT
