Hi,
I've recently installed two 3750V2 stacks int o our network.
I tried to see them via ciscoview, but it show me an empty chassis shape with "Unkown Device" written inside.
I updated every ciscoview package into CS >Software Center > Device Updates.
But it still now working.
I'm using LMS 3.0
CS 3.1.0
Ciscoview 6.1.6
I've updated package Cat3750 from 8.0 to 10.0.
The sysObjectID(2).0 for the stack is 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.1.516.
But unluckily I cannot still view the V2 stacks.
Any suggestion about?
Thanks in advance.
Massimiliano.

What is the exactly model of 3750 you have? Version 10.0 of the Cat3750 package does have some V2 support for the following models:
WS-C3750V2-48PS
WS-C3750V2-24TS
WS-C3750V2-48TS
WS-C3750V2-24PS

The stacks are made of WS-C3750V2-48TS switches.

Check the byte size of NMSROOT/MDC/tomcat/webapps/CVng/WEB-INF/classes/com/cisco/nm/cvw/devpkgs/Cat3750.zip. The latest version of this package should be 1313553 bytes. Also, check the byte size of NMSROOT/www/classpath/com/cisco/nm/xms/psu/pkgs/cvw/Cat3750.zip. It should match that of the former path.

I will check as soon as I can.

Hi Joe,
I've no Cat3750.zip in this path: NMSROOT/www/classpath/com/cisco/nm/xms/psu/pkgs/cvw/
I would like to know if I've to copy it from NMSROOT\\MDC\tomcat\webapps\CVng\WEB-INF\classes\com\cisco\nm\cvw\devpkgs.
The size is the right one..
Do I need to restart any services on the server?
Massi.

Yes, you can copy the package into the psu directory, but this wouldn't fix your problem. The other directory is actually he one used by CiscoView when communication with devices. Post the output of DIR from both directories.

Here's the output:
Directory of D:\Program Files\CSCOpx\MDC\tomcat\webapps\CVng\WEB-INF\classes\com\cisco\nm\cvw\devpkgs
03/06/2010 16:06
Directory of D:\Program Files\CSCOpx\www\classpath\com\cisco\nm\xms\psu\pkgs\cvw
16/06/2010 10:36

Go ahead and sync the contents of the two directories to make them identical in terms of .zip files. Make sure that casuser has full control over ALL files in both directories. Then restart Daemon Manager, and see if you can open view for 3750s.

Ciao Joe,
I've stopped daemon manager then copied files from :
D:\Program Files\CSCOpx\MDC\tomcat\webapps\CVng\WEB-INF\classes\com\cisco\nm\cvw\devpkgs
into:
D:\Program Files\CSCOpx\www\classpath\com\cisco\nm\xms\psu\pkgs\cvw
But it doesn't work.
I've also checked causer permissions and it has full control over both directories.
Massi.

Joe,

Post the sysObjectID from this switch.
07-09-2010 12:34 AM
The sysObjectID(2).0 for the stack is 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.1.516.

Sorry, I forgot you mentioned that in the first post. Post the SNMP walk of the entPhysicalTable from this stack.
