The answer is unfortunately, no. The focus of CiscoWorks regarding Fault Management is to correlate events, and send consolidated alerts to "Managers of Managers" like for example Cisco Info Center.
So here is what you can do:
- Send the alerts you wish to a system able to submit short messages upon reception of SNMP traps (if you google on "sms snmp" you will find some stuff).
- Or if you are keen on scripting, you can write a script that sends a short message, and call it from Syslog Manager in RME, so that short messages are sent upon reception of Syslog messages from the LMS server.
