CiscoWorks Common Service Bulk Import from File and Remote NMS

Hi All,

I am trying to do bulk import from Netcool Database into CiscoWorks CS/DCR. There are a number of Cisco devices in Netcool that are not in CiscoWorks. Goal is to sync both. I know there are 2 options Bulk Import from Remote NMS, and Import File

It appears Option #2 may be more straightforward, and less troublesome. However, I never really done this before so I need step by step

For option 2 what is the recommended format CSV file, XML, etc I already have Netcool Database Device List in xls file.

What are all the device options, creds do  I need to specify in file format. My last attempt was prompted with an error invalid file format.  Please assist

Normailly you will want to export the device to a CSV file, use the CSV format below, then import into LMS using the above links.
