Client data disappeared

Hello,

Running a trial license of Prime 3.2 on a VM, was all working fine and viewing Monitor->Clients and Users would show me all the client's details. I added a few more switches and came back a few hours later and now I don't see any clients.

I've tried an ncs stop followed by ncs start and see:

This may take a while (10 minutes or more) ...
_outputHdlr check:Invalid database connection parameters. IO Error: Connection reset
_outputHdlr check:java.sql.SQLRecoverableException: IO Error: Connection reset
_outputHdlr check: at oracle.jdbc.driver.T4CConnection.logon(T4CConnection.java:752)
_outputHdlr check: at oracle.jdbc.driver.PhysicalConnection.connect(PhysicalConnection.java:666)

Which I'm guessing isn't good. Any ideas?

After the restart I still get 'No data available' when viewing clients. All devices are in a managed state still.

Thanks,

Dave

Upgraded to 3.2.1 and applied device pack 2 but still no client data.

However, it turns out I was being a complete fool, somehow the quick filter had been changed to 'dual stack' clients, can't believe it was something so simple, very embarrassing.

 - What's the output of ncs status ?

M.

-- ' 'Good body every evening' ' this sentence was once spotted on a logo at the entrance of a Weight Watchers Club !

Hi,

Here's the output:

ncs status
Health Monitor Server is running. ( [Role] Primary [State] HA not Configured )
Database server is running
FTP Service is running
TFTP Service is running
Matlab Server is running
Matlab Server Instance 1 is running
Matlab Server Instance 2 is running
Matlab Server Instance 3 is running
NMS Server is running.
SAM Daemon is running ...
DA Daemon is running ...
Compliance engine is running

I'm going to try applying the 3.2.1 patch to see if that fixes anything.
