Is there a simple way to export a configuration, preferably with the passwords intact, from CiscoWorks to a desktop? We are trying to find an easy way to be able to recover a configuration to restore via console if we lose the config on a device and have no network connectivity. The only ways I can figure out are pretty complicated and often have the passwords scrubbed and replaced with *****.
TIA

You can use the cwconfig CLI script for this. See the docs for syntax details.

Another way is to copy
...\CSCOpx\files\archive\shadow (if CW2000 running on Windows, on UNIX there should be similar directory)
to your PC (via FTP, e.g.).
