I am looking for a way to get CiscoWorks LMS 4 to send me an email alert when a switch port goers into a security violation (err-disabled).
Is there a way to do this?

you could configure an automated action based on the syslog message you get on security violations;
for the configuration, have a look here:
some syslog examples are:
%PM-SP-4-ERR_DISABLE: bpduguard error detected on Gi4/1, putting Gi4/1 in err-disable state
%PM-SP-4-ERR_DISABLE: udld error detected on Gi4/1, putting Gi4/1 in err-disable state.
%PM-4-ERR_DISABLE: link-flap error detected on Gi4/1, putting Gi4/1 in err-disable state
%PM-SW1-4-ERR_DISABLE: link-flap error detected on Te2/4/4, putting Te2/4/4 in err-disable state

That worked perfectly. Thanks Martin!
