Configuring Multiple Switches Simultaneously

Hello Community,

i have to role out some config parameters to exsisting switches in total 200. All config parameters are the same for the switches.

What is the best way to confiure the switches simultaneously, without configuring one-by-one?
Are there any best practices out there?

There are a lot of ways to accomplish this, depending on the tools you have on-hand.  This does require an automation platform. This can be something you already have for monitoring, i.e. Cisco Prime LAN Management, Solarwinds NCM, KiwiKat Tools, DNA-C, or other....  If you don't, you can look Ansible.  Really being able to make Ansible do complex tasks does require some programming and scripting understanding.  What do you uses today for graphical network management, reporting, and alerting?

Hello Pete,

at the moment there is no Graphical Network Management, Ansible will come in the future but not at the moment. We want to try it without Ansible. Does appliacation like SecureCRT, Putty can acomblish that requirement?
