I am wondering if there is an easy way to hook up a home networking lab I am building to a home wireless router.  I have a layer-3 Cisco 3560 and have no access to Ethernet ports at my labs location.  I am looking at cheaper options and could not really find any info about this online.
-Thanks

It is possible but if you intended to do this wirelessly, not a good idea. The WDS feature, when available, works very badly. Run one cable and avoid tons of problems.

What you are thinking to do is a bridge and chances are this is not going to work due devices imcompatibiity.

Sinse your router has ports available,  you just need to run a cable from switch to router.

I was looking into getting a Cisco 871w and was wondering if it would be able to connect to my existing WiFi router and if my switch was plugged into the 871w that it would act like a kind of bridge between my WiFi router and itself.
