core switch redundancy

Hi ,

so we have tow core switches cisco catalyst 6807-XL , working as active active VSS , and we have some switches connected directly to the first one and others connected to the second one.

Unfortunately the first Core stopped working for no apparent reason so far as all the access switches that connected to it do not contain the network , but the other core switch works fine and all connected to the other device reach them online .

i check on the modules and it was all active and showing it's works fine .

To understand the problem better : can you post the Logs when this situation happend also below output :

show version
Show switch virtual redundancy
show switch virtual role
Show switch virtual link
Show switch virtual link port-channel

based on the information we can reload the one which is not working (depends on the issue)

Other note, always suggest to have Access Layer dual homed, so you have high resilence this kind of situation
