Wish to find out if its possible for cwlms to monitor vpn traffic, in such a way that whenever a vpn connection or links goes down it sends an alert to to the various mails created for it. i know cwlms does great things but i dont yet know if it can handle this
Not directly, no. The quickest work around is to monitor reachability of the first Cisco device on the far end of the VPN tunnel. When it becomes unreachable, your VPN may be down.
