On our Nexus 5000 we are getting the following syslog messages
2011 Mar 17 19:53:23 switch_name %DAEMON-2-SYSTEM_MSG: fatal: Write failed: Broken pipe .Client is 10.x.x.x,length of packet causing error 736 736 - sshd
10.x.x.x is our Ciscoworks server (LMS 3.2)
I can't find any info on this message.
In our case this is caused by our Nessus Scan server. This server scans for security vulnerabilities on the network and endpoints.
We are getting them on the 7K using the exact same scanning software.
Are you ignoring them or do you have a way to fix it.
