Daemon manager??

what's daemon manager??

and how can I stop it to execute a utility like changeport or resetpasswd.

when I execute any utility this waring messages appears :

Daemon Manager is running.

Please stop Daemon Manager using net stop crmdmgtd

before using this utility.

The Daemon Manager controls all CiscoWorks processes

To stop it on Windows, open a DOS shell and issue the command:

net stop crmdmgtd

To re-start it:

net start crmdmgtd
