Hello,
I want to configure CiscoWorks Assistance I got error message "Error in communicating with DCR Server.DCR Server may be down. Please start the DCR Server and then refresh the page. ". I picked up CS-server-admin-Process, I found process "DCRServer Running Normally".
I saw a topic with a hotfix CSCsu84143-0 , I installed it, but I have the same problem.
I already uninstall and install again CiscoWorks, but it doesn't work fine.

What version of LMS is this? On what platform is it installed?

The LMS version is 3.2 and I am installing on a windows server 2008 service pack 1

This is what I thought. You are most likely seeing CSCtd07049. There is a patch available from TAC that fixes this. We recently made it very easy to open a service request from CSC. See https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-13613 . Click the "Open Service Request" link in the Actions panel, then open the SR as your normally would. The TAC engineer that gets it will known what we discussed here and will be able to provide you the patch.
