DFM Discovery issue

We have install Ciscoworks LMS 3.2 on windows server 2003 enterprise edition.

DFM version is 3.2.0.

While rediscovering devices most of the switches are in Questioned SNMP timeout. If I run device credential verification job for SNMP from RME>Devices>Device Management job executs successfully.

We are using SNMP V3.

Need assistance for the same.

Hi,

Be aware that DFM do not support all the privacy algorithms for SNMP V3.

DFM supports the following:

For authentication: Sha, MD5

For privacy DES and AES128

The following privacy algorithms are not supported:

3DES, AES192, and AES256

Hi,

We are using SNMP V3 with MD5 authentication authnopriv.

Previously these Switches was in DFM known devices.

Hi Yusuf,

Let's try to delete and re add those devices in DFM.

Also if the devices stay on learning for a long time, please let me know on what learning percentage they stay.
