Does Cisco Prime LMS 4.2.5 can do work as Rancid ?

- Configuration Management :

  • collection of configuration on all devices 
  • periodically check for any difference in existing and new configuration

- Switch Availability : by sending not able to communicate to switch ?

Yes it can do all of that.

 

It cannot do it for non-Cisco equipment though like RANCID can.
