End host entries in CDP table

HI All,

'show cdp neighbors' will show the connected devices and its capability.

To what kind of devices does the capability code 'H' will be set, is it done only for Cisco VoIP phones or Cisco UCS servers.

If the end host is a linux server, will the table show the data for the linux  host?(I think it won't be shown as no CDP communication will be received on port)

Could someone pls clarify.

 - In general CDP is  a protocol related and or supported by cisco equipment (only)  ,
