Fault Device Manager 4.1.0 and C4503E devices

Dears,

I am working with LMS 4.1 and FDM 4.1.0.

If I ask to the Supported Device Finder Portlet about C4503-E (SysObjectId: 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.1.874), it tells that this device is supported by DFM 4.1.0. Nevertheless, in DFM module each one devices appear in the "All Unknown Devices" group, with Error Code: Unsupported.

CDP is enable in each one of these devices.

Any idea about what's the problem?

Have you installed the latest Fault Device Packages form CCO ?

DFM needs to have snmp read access to the devices to classify them. Check if you can reach the device with SNMP from the LMS server.

Yes, CCO says the server is updated, in software and devices.

Also, the devices can be reached with SNMP.

Any other ideas?

Finally, after opening a TAC case, the problem was the file oid2type_Cisco.Conf. It didn't include the OID of several types of devices. Updating this file the issue dissapeared.
