Hello. So I've had a few ASA's over the years, and am replacing one in a remote site with a Firepower 1120. It's on version 6.4. Basically, it had a basic configuration, was never connected to the internet, and sat in a box for six months until now. I can get into it via SSH or the web interface via a laptop at that site. At a minimum I need to change the WAN IP and the default route, then it can be online, and presumably activate its license or whatever is going on here. However, in the web version it says that deployment is not available since my device does not have a Base License. My attempts to do this via the CLI have not been successful.
I'm sure this has been asked and answered before, but any direction you may have would be very helpful.
Thanks.

I found an article showing the command 'configure manager delete' executed from SSH. It looks like this will work, and I'm fine resetting it and starting over; I'm just not sure if it will take me back to the 90-day eval mode or not.
Any thoughts?

To put a bow on this, the process did work, resetting the device as expected. It does turn off DHCP on the management port. It does not reset the password.

Hello,
the original issue was the missing base license, riight ? So after doing the factory reset, that issue has been resolved ?
