H/W Server Running Cisco IP Solution Center (ISC) 5.2 Restarts frequently

Hi All,

We have this issue where by the server on which we have installed Cisco IP Solution Center 5.2 keeps restarting after some time period.

We have opened a case with Sun Microsystems to try to resolve any hardware issues but the problem still persists. We have changed the motherboard, power supplies etc on two separate servers running the same software but the issue keeps coming up especially when we start using ISC from the web console.

Is this a bug with ISC??

Hi Edward,

I'm not aware of any such bug with ISC that could cause the server to reboot. The application is thoroughly tested prior to release and so would catch this kind of thing.

Can you confirm the exact hardware you are running on your server please? Also, have you tried running it on a different server to rule out something else on the server that could be causing this?
