Hi there,

I'm trying to find a way to get historical info on device CPU and memory utilisation in CiscoWorks LMS.

Any suggestions ?

Thanks,

Danijela

There's nothing in LMS 2.5 that really does historical info on CPU and memory utilisation.

DFM is more of a tool that does alarms/alerts for CPU/memory thresholds than recording historical info on this.

IPM is about the only piece that does historical reports, but it is more realted to network latency, jitter, availability, packet loss, and errors, not this utilisation you mention above though.

Thanks for the answer !

I was looking specifically for CPU and memory historical info.

You might want to set up one of the popular freewares that exist out there. MRTG for example:

I think CiscoView does it in the latest LMS bundel

If you're talking about the miniRMON portion of CiscoView it does traffic history, but not CPU and Mem. Also, not all devices support RMON, specifically most routers do not.

There are CPU and Memory monitoring portions in CiscoView but these monitors real-time statistics and not historical
